Thank you my friend. I often sit on beach sides and have thought this for ages. I also believe itβs why the waves coming into and out from shore is so relaxing. The very earth in meditative breathing. π€
This is a brilliant offshoot from my poem!! Thank you for the detour in your colourful poetry. Iβve missed it!! I guess itβs partially my own fault as I donβt often post my own writing much these days. ..but I do intend to commit to more of it again. The community work is challenging to balance with my own presence here. I hope you are well, friend. π
Thank you friend. I do spend a lot of time in otherworldly places in my mind so that it translates into my outward facing world makes me very pleased. π
I see what made you connect the track with my own!! I love it!! And I actually didnβt know this song. I love what comes out when creative minds sit in circles together. Thank you dear Otilia. π
Oh this makes my day. I havenβt been sharing much of my solo work lately and sometime fear my work is unattainable to many writers because I very much do love to write with symbolism, metaphysical ideas, alchemy, mythology and more. It always feels good to connect with writers who see and understand that. This piece is probably less on that style I love but nonetheless certainly filled with these foundational elements. Thank you for seeing me and my writing. Thank you for being here. ππ€π
Beauty is seen by the beautiful. Thank you for sharing this space with me and for sitting with my work. We gather in beauty together dear Ana. π€π
I never imagined waves as breaths. This is a brilliant creation!

The earth is breathing, you are right, Sylvia! Alive and life-giving. <3
Foam on a cold night
Breath exhaled
Roar. Rage. Rave.
Tsunami sucks undertow
Down tentacles touch
Sting nematocyst sting
The salty sea dogs wail
Walrus tusks impale
Fog horns piercing prow sinking into sand dunes
Wave ripples left bound
To reach sea shells song.
Listen. Warriors.
Salt wounds .
Seagulls cry.
Hear the noise?

Such a beautiful compliment Domo. I appreciate you being here after your absence from Substack. π
The pleasure is mine Sylvia. Hope you are doing well!
You think in symbols, not just words.
So, I don't just read the poem; I "enter" it!
Wonderful!
