Inhabiting (s)kin...

a poem: [stripped]

Inhabiting (s)kin…
[stripped]

I descended from the night
To caress you by moonlight
Long
          Slow
                    Air
Whispering with your (s)kin
To understand where you’ve been

Scent of sweet and honeyed neroli
Sampling golden apple core slowly
               Gifts
         You
Left
Exotic art from the ancients
Memories of dancing in the fragrance

Stood in dunes, dust of selves swirling
Our bodies (s)tripped in physical worlding
Time
          Held
                    Birth
Subtle form cycle of shedding
Spirit breath bear Ba and our Ka abiding

Alive with unseen potent grace
Wine-dark sea currents in shadowed spaces
                    Soft
          Torch
 Flickers
Naked pretense and mystery sleeps
Hushed toned nearness, our fragility bleeds

Yielding pyre of tender desire
Sandalwood redolent at Vesta’s sacred fire
Laced
            Veiled
                         Power
Silent mystics and gods unseen
Infused sacraments, destiny foreseen

Kyrie eleison into our souls
Lovers longing lingered, written in scrolls
                           Felt
           Through
(S)kins
Sunlight and jasmine sing through trees
Carnal knowledge carried on gentle breezes

Charted stars and eloquent verses
A prison and a lure that truths dispersed
This
         Flesh
                    Echoes
Alchemical touch recollection
Muted tongues beyond verbal expression

Current sigh of remembering
Through live wired skies bound by etchings
                       One
              Fiery
Embrace
Cosmic swell in immortal fusion
Our astral frames in unending union
